Balikesir Krfez Airport is the name of a large airport located north of Edremit, in the central province of Turkey. The airport's name has been changed from Balikesir Edremit Airport to Balikesir Krfez Airport by the Turkish authorities. This airport is the third largest airport in the northern part of Turkey and serves flights to more than 40 countries in the region.

Balikesir Krfez airport is situated at the base of the Mountain Kebecoype, which is a famous tourist attraction in the area. It is the highest airport in Turkey and is also home to an international airport which is used by many airlines. The most frequent international flights to this airport are from the European Union, United Kingdom and several Asian countries.
