Istanbul Ataturk Airport International - A Major International Airport

Istanbul Ataturk Airport International is a major international cargo and general aviation airport. It was once an intercontinental commercial hub and closed to regular commercial air travel on 6 April 2020 due to security reasons. It has since then become a major hub for domestic flights.

It is the second-busiest airport of Turkey with over 100 million passengers passing through every year. It is also the third largest commercial airport in the Middle East after Dubai and Istanbul. It was originally known as Istanbul, the capital of the Empire of the Turkmen. Nowadays it is known as Istanbul Metropolitan Airport and Istanbul Sisli Airport.

The airport is surrounded by a large complex of buildings and is about an hour's drive from the city center. As with most large and busy airports, there are numerous flights into Istanbul at any given time, making it an ideal place to travel to and from. The airport is located within the main metropolitan area and is also close to other important cities. The nearest railway station is in the north of the city and the bus service from the airport to other towns is also nearby. The airport also serves other international airports. There are three international airports, located in the northern part of Istanbul close to the Bosphorus Strait and on the border of Iran and Iraq.

There are also two terminals within the airport that are separated from each other by a fence called the Istanbul Taka. These terminals, which serve domestic and international flights, are located in the northern part of the airport. The airport has been rated as one of the best airports in the world with regard to safety by the World Transportation Safety Board (TIMB) as well as the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). This rating is mainly due to the presence of strict security measures at the airport and the low number of accidents and serious injuries recorded there. The airport also has several helipads that offer quick and safe transport to the airport.

The major transport links from the airport are the airport bus services from the arrivals hall to the terminals and the bus or metro rail network from the terminals to the terminal buildings, both within the airport and outside. Buses are available in both petrol and non-petrol form. The main bus service from the airport is the Istanbul metro rail line. The metro train has an average speed of 75 kilometers per hour, but can be very fast depending on traffic. and traffic conditions.

There are several bus lines from the Ataturk airport to other major cities, and these buses are called the Istanbul Taka. Some of these routes are also possible by walking, but may be very slow. There are also minibuses which will take you directly to your hotel or office.
