The Ercan Airport Is the Central Airport For Northern Cyprus

The Ercan Airport is one of the most important airports in Northern Cyprus, serving all of Cyprus with direct flights. It is the main civilian airport of Northern Cyprus, only recognized by Turkey, an island nation within the Middle East. It is situated about 13 kilometers southwest of North Nicosia, in the village of Kirklar near the town of Fotinos. It has three terminals and is divided into several terminals.

Flights to the island arrive via this airport at least once per day. The airport is closed on some days of the year, and this means that there are no flights from other airports to Cyprus. In fact, the main air traffic into the island originates from this airport. There are also flights from neighboring European nations such as Greece, Albania, and Romania. Flights to Cyprus can take up to six hours from this airport.

The Arfa airport is another airport in Northern Cyprus. It has two terminals. It is close to both the Larnaca International Airport and the Cyprus International Airport. The two terminals are connected by a road, which connects the terminals. The road is mostly unpaved, but is in good condition for traveling.

A third airport is the Abu Dhabi Airport. The airport is serviced by six international flights per day. It has a parking lot, which is free of charge. The main terminal building has a terminal building and a number of parking lots. There are also a number of shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby. The airport is not connected to the international airports.

The domestic flights to Northern Cyprus also operate to the island's neighbor Turkey through the Turkish Airlines.
